Levels

Will the classes be at the right level for me?
Yes, groups are divided by levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). That means you’ll be studying with people of a similar level to you – and you shouldn’t ever feel too far ahead or behind.

We have the following levels available on our Spanish courses:

  • A1 (beginner)
  • A1-B (beginner +)
  • A2 (elementary)
  • B1 (intermediate)
  • B2 (upper-intermediate)
  • C1 (advanced)

Initially, you will choose your level with the help of our online level test. During the course, your teacher will keep a close eye on your progress. If they believe the material is too easy or too difficult they will recommend you change levels. Bear in mind that, 200 study/contact hours are needed to advance one level in the CEFR (Common European Framework).
